Veneers & Laminats

Veneers

Dental veneers are custom made shells that fit over the front surfaces of your teeth. They conceal cracks, chips, stains, gaps and crooked teeth etc. Veneers are one of the most common cosmetic dental treatments. There are 2 types of veneers.

  • 1. Composite Veneers
  • 2. Porcelain Veneers
1. Composite Veneers

These are the less preferred choice as they are prone to staining. However, getting composite veneers requires less prep work on the natural teeth. They are quite cheaper.

2. Porcelain Veneers

They have a highly natural appearance, more durable and highly biocompatible [easily adjust with body] with surrounding soft tissue [gums].

Laminates are only as thick as a contact lenses and a thinner alternative to veneers. If the issue is discoloration one can go with laminates.
